I’ve been coming to this place for years, and it’s always been a favourite. The food is consistently great, comforting, well-made, and reliable. The service is one of the things I’ve always appreciated most. Everyone who works here is friendly, attentive, and really seems to care. I was in for dinner tonight and had a great meal as usual, but I want to shout out the waitress in particular. She was working alone and clearly juggling a lot, and unfortunately, there was a customer being incredibly rude and impatient with her. It was uncomfortable to watch, but the way the waitress handled it was so composed and gracious. She didn’t deserve that treatment, and I just want to say I saw how hard she was working and appreciated it. This kind of stuff reminds me why I keep coming back :)

We came here on Easter Sunday for lunch before we went to the Diefenbunker. We were greeted by a lovely lady who handed us some menus and seated us. I noticed how clean it was in there which is always a tremendous first impression. We opted for the cheese papusas, plantains, beans and sour cream. And WOW, we were ever impressed. The food was so delicious and flavourful. This ended up being our favourite restaurant in Ottawa over the 3 days we stayed there. The service, food and atmosphere were all fantastic. We'll be back next time we're in Ottawa. 5/5

The Cabana restaurant in Ottawa offers a delightful escape into a world of vibrant flavors and a charming ambiance that seems to whisk you away from the bustle of the city. Nestled in a cozy corner of the city, this quaint eatery serves up a fusion of traditional and contemporary dishes that are both innovative and satisfying. The interior of Cabana is tastefully decorated with a touch of rustic elegance, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The lighting is soft and the seating comfortable, making it an ideal spot for both romantic dinners and casual gatherings. The menu is a standout, featuring a variety of dishes that cater to all tastes. The seafood is particularly notable, with the grilled octopus and scallops receiving rave reviews for their freshness and flavor. Vegetarians and meat lovers alike will find plenty to savor, from the creatively assembled salads to the richly marinated steaks. Service at Cabana is attentive without being intrusive. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu, happily providing recommendations and accommodating dietary restrictions with ease. Desserts are not to be missed, with the chocolate lava cake and the homemade sorbets being popular choices to finish off a meal. Overall, Cabana is a gem in Ottawa's dining scene, offering an experience that is both gastronomically satisfying and aesthetically pleasing. Whether you're a local or just passing through, a meal here promises to be memorable.

This is one of my favorite restaurants by far! They serve authentic and homemade Salvadoran food. I enjoy the pupusas and revueltas that they serve with cortida and salsa very much. The service is great, especially Citlali. And the decor is filled with beautiful plants.

Good service, clean restaurant, delicious papusas with generous serving sizes and extremely tasty. Order came out very quickly as well. About 7 tables total, but was able to get one around 3 pm. Very much recommended.

Great little authentic Salvadoran restaurant. Tasty food for a great price in a small place with limited seating. The papusas and tamales were both legit, with the papusas in particular being some of the best I have had in Canada. I haven't tried anything else on the menu. They also have soft drink's from various Latin American countries including my favourite, Inca Cola (Peru). Staff were friendly and service was quick. Worth a visit if you are in the area.
